The Clubhouse

The first purpose built clubhouse was a small wooden pavilion, constructed in 1899, close to where the professionals shop stands today.

In 1911 it was decided to build a much larger clubhouse and this was officially opened on 21st February 1914.

Over the years the clubhouse has been extended and modified many times in order to provide the essential modern facilities required by todays golfer, yet still retains many of the original features which give Ormskirk Golf Club that traditional, old world charm.

The clubhouse compliments the course magnificently and provides members, visitors and guests with comfortable and pleasant surroundings to relax and socialise after golf.

The main lounge and patio area provide stunning panoramic views across the course.

The bar is open every day from 11.30 a.m. and catering is available every day except Monday.
