Directions to Ormskirk Golf Club - Under no circumstances approach the club along Cranes Lane from the B5240. Follow the directions below.

This postcode will bring you within 400 yards of the golf club.

If you come from the Castle Lane you will need to turn right at the point of the Sat Nav saying that you have reached your destination, then drive up the road approximately 400 yards until you see the golf club entrance on your right.

If you come from the Lathom Lane you will need to carry on driving for approximately 400 yards after the Sat Nav has stated you have reached your destination, you will then see the golf club entrance on your right.

From M6 Junction 27

Exit at junction 27 Standish, take the A5209 towards Burscough / Ormskirk. Proceed past Wrightington Hospital through Parbold village and Newburgh and continue approximately 6 miles to fourth (major) mini roundabout (petrol station just beyond on left) Turn left B5240 (Hall Lane) then immediate right Hobb Cross Lane, proceed for about 3 miles just past a sharp left hand bend (triangle fork) Turn left onto Sandy Lane and proceed to end (junction) Turn left Cranes Lane. The club is about 600 yards on the right. 

From M58 Junction 3

Take B5240 (Lyelake Lane)
At T junction take A577 to Ormskirk (Wigan Road)
Stay on A577 through Westhead turn right before Halton Castle Pub(this has now been demolished and is a building site) into Castle Lane.
At Crossroads turn right into Cranes Lane
Golf club 500 yards on the right 

From Ormskirk Town Centre 

From Ormskirk Town Centre follow one-way system.
Once in Derby Street, keep in left hand lane.
After Railway Station keep left and continue along Derby Street
Derby Street then becomes Dark Lane
Continue along Dark Lane until you reach open fields
Take next right turn into Lathom Lane
Continue straight on from Lathom Lane into Cranes Lane
Ormskirk Golf Club is on the right. Visitors car park on left.
