Ormskirk Golf Club welcomes its many visitors who we regard and treat as members for the day. All our facilities are available to you and our Secretary will ensure all your requirements are met in full.
The clubhouse facilities complement the course magnificently and combine to provide members, visitors and guests with comfortable and pleasant surroundings.
Our key facilities - rooms span over two floors which allow Members and visitors to relax in the comfort of the club house. The main lounge and patio area to the rear and side of the clubhouse provide stunning panoramic views across the course including the 1st, 8th, 9th, 13th, 18th fairway and green plus the practice area, putting green.
Our ground floor facilities, contain our main lounge, spike bar, smoke room, plus male & female locker rooms. Our comfortable and superbly appointed locker rooms form an integral part of the clubhouse and include superior bathroom facilities with fresh towel and drying facilities.
The second floor facilities, contain our snack room - snooker room and our attractively presented dining room which also has a balcony and views over the course. For those eager to continue with the sporting theme beyond 18 holes, our Billiards / Snooker room contains a full size table.
The Club takes great pride in its House facilities, catering and bar operation, with an experienced and friendly team on hand to cater for every taste and occasion. Please contact us in advance to discuss your menu preferences.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR VISITORS
CLUBHOUSE
The Professional’s shop will advise the security number for the locker room.
To exit the visitor’s car park a token/disc to lower the bollard can be obtained from either the Professional’s shop or the Steward at the bar.
The bar is open all day from 11.30 a.m.
Smart casual dress may be worn in the snooker room and mixed lounge. There is also a spike bar.
Dress in the smoke room and dining room must include a jacket and tie at all times.
CATERING
Morning coffee is served in the mixed lounge or can be obtained from the machine sited in the mixed lounge.
Lunchtime snacks (soup, sandwiches etc.) are served in the snooker room. Evening meals are served in the dining room.(Jacket & Tie Only)
Please ensure that our caterer is notified of your requirements no less than 14 days prior to your booking, where possible.
